Integrating Sphere
Integrating sphere is a cavity sphere coated with white diffusereflective material, also known as photometric sphere, luminous flux sphere,etc.. Some of them are equipped with sample holders, lens holders, hole plugs, light traps, light bars, chimney connectors and standard white boards, etc. tomeet the requirements of various optical measurements. The inner wall of thesphere is coated with ideal diffuse reflection material, and the light enteringthe integrating sphere is reflected many times by the inner wall coating toform uniform illumination on the inner wall, thus eliminating the effect ofuneven outgoing beam caused by the light source's own characteristics. In orderto obtain high measurement accuracy, the opening ratio of the integratingsphere should be as small as possible. The aperture ratio is defined as theratio of the area of the ball at the aperture of the integrating sphere to thearea of the entire inner wall of the sphere.
